Guarding Bernic
believes in direct involvement by the directors
and management to ensure high standards. Monthly
meetings are held with our Guards to discuss any
potential difficulties and the guards are positively
encouraged to discuss their own ideas to improve
the service.
Relevant
information that arises at these meetings is passed
to clients for discussion.

Commercial:
The Guard must be able to distinguish legitimate visitors
from the unwanted. All our staff will be able
to carry out a range of tasks > reception, traffic
control, parcel collection and distribution, body
searches, monitoring staff movements, locking procedures
and setting alarms.
|
Retail:
the Guard has many if not all of the skills of a Commercial
Guard. They also have specialist skills with
the ability to carry out tasks without creating a
barrier between themselves and the customer. The Guard
will learn the day to day running of the premises,
will be able to assist customers, memorise the layout
of products and monitor the most vulnerable merchandise.
BERNIC Guards are conversant with the powers of arrest
and undertake the appropriate procedure.
