Alarm Response Bernic operate a modern control centre that is manned 24 hrs a day 365 days a year.

A senior officer will respond immediately to an alarm activation. He will quickly asses the situation externally if there are no signs of a forced entry will enter the Property, reset the alarm and secure the building, leaving a short report informing you that there has been an alarm activation.

He will then arrange for the building to be secured. Windows boarded up etc. and will remain on site until he is sure that the building is secured. If any damage has been caused that may stop Production on the next working day he will inform your representative and act on their instruction.

Alarm Response You will receive a full report on the next working day including a crime number and details of the police officer who attended. You will need a crime number for Insurance purposes. 

Our response time is monitored at the end of each month and our average response time was 15 minutes in August 2004 and 14 minutes in September 2004.

We have several different combinations of service and payment schemes to suit your requirements.

The boarding service will be arranged through a local company “Emergency Aid” who are experts at temporarily securing and have been vetted to the same standard as our own staff.  This service although arranged by Bernic Security Ltd is charged separately by Emergency Aid directly.
